# Athelista > Athelista is coaching software for run clubs, running coaches and strength coaches. Coaches plan running and gym workouts for groups or individuals, the workouts are sent to each athlete's Garmin watch with their own paces and heart-rate zones, and completed activities sync back from Garmin and COROS so the coach sees planned vs. done. Coaches can start free with up to 5 athletes; athletes never pay. ## Key facts - Who it's for: run clubs, running coaches, and strength or gym coaches. Athletes join their coach for free. - Planning: type workouts in plain words ("2k wu, 6 × 800 m @ 5K pace, 90 s jog, 2k cd"), paste a week from Excel or Google Sheets, or use the step builder. Templates, copy a week, batches (groups) with locations and session times, and changes for one athlete. - Watches: planned runs are sent to athletes' Garmin calendars for the next 7 days and update when the coach changes the plan. Completed runs sync back from Garmin and COROS. Sending workouts to COROS watches is planned. Athletes without a supported watch can mark sessions done, log by hand, or upload a FIT, GPX or TCX file. - Heart-rate zones: five zones per athlete, worked out by % of max heart rate (default), heart-rate reserve (Karvonen) or threshold heart rate. The coach sets a default and athletes can choose their own. Zones are sent to the watch as each athlete's own bpm range. - Strength: gym sessions by sets, reps, rest, supersets and circuits, with loads as % of 1RM shown in each athlete's kilos or pounds. - Coach tools: Today view, planned vs. done, a needs-you list (missed sessions, pain reports, watches that stopped syncing), messages and announcements, enrollment and health forms, goal races, training blocks, pace groups, training load and time in zones, and fee tracking. - Athletes: use Athelista in the phone browser (no install). They see today's workout and their week, mark sessions done or missed, check in, report pain, and control what each coach can see. - Units: km or miles, kg or lb, per person. - Status: in beta. Payments are handled by Razorpay. ## Pricing - Free: free, up to 5 athletes, just you. - Pro: $4.99/month launch price ($7.99 list), in India ₹199/month incl. GST (₹499 list).
